Core to the Keeper offering is Keeper Password Manager (KPM), a Zero Trust and Zero Knowledge platform for securely storing, sharing and reporting of user records within an organisation. These records can be usernames and passwords, 2FA/MFA codes, SSH keys, software licensing keys, identity documents and more.

  • Zero Trust meaning that you must always authenticate to gain access to the secure records
  • Zero Knowledge meaning that nobody other than the owner or designated shared recipients have access to the records

Records are kept in a secure digital vault for each user, which is encrypted in transit and at rest using an AES256 algorithm, ensuring that nobody except the owner of the record can access it. If a user shares a record, a copy of it is stored within the target users vault and is encrypted with the target user’s private key. Any shared records can also be unshared (revoked) as needed.

Business of all sizes will benefit from the use of Keeper Password Manager, as small as one or two users, right through to large enterprise organisations. The user experience remains the same, however, more advanced functionality can be purchased through bundled offerings, or as add-ons.

Solution83 are a Keeper MSP partner, which allows us to resell Keeper products, as well as provide value added services to our customers, like customised onboarding and ongoing support.

While the product is relatively easy to purchase, deploy and use, we offer our experience and expertise services to ensure that the product is implemented correctly and used to its full potential.

Bonus: Keeper Family

Each license purchased for business use includes a free ‘Family’ version of Keeper Password Manager. This allows employees to secure and share their usernames and passwords between family members. Perfect for things like Wifi passwords, shared bank accounts, insurance policies etc.

KeeperFill is a browser extension that automatically enters your username, password, and other information, such as payment card data and addresses, into login fields and online forms. Autofill makes it super easy to access your accounts via browsers or apps since it enables you to login instantly.

This is a base function of Keeper Password Manager provided at no extra cost.

Businesses face a significant risk of having their employees’ weak passwords stolen and sold by cybercriminals on the dark web. BreachWatch is a powerful business dark web monitoring tool that can be added on to Keeper Password Manager.

BreachWatch constantly scans employees’ Keeper Vaults for passwords that have been exposed on the dark web and immediately alerts you to take action and protect your organisation.

Keeper Commander is a command-line and SDK interface to Keeper Password Manager. Commander can be used to access and control your Keeper vault, perform administrative functions (such as end-user onboarding and data import/export), launch remote sessions, rotate passwords, eliminate hardcoded passwords and more.

Keeper Commander is an open source project with contributions from Keeper’s engineering team and partners.

Additional Enterprise Functions

Asides from being a password manager, Keeper provides advanced capabilities for organisations looking to secure other parts of their operation. Key areas include:

  • Secure access to servers – on-premises and in the cloud
  • Securing development efforts – ensuring code does not contain secrets
  • Secure chat – for organisations requiring encrypted communications, often those in highly regulated industries

Keeper Connection Manager (KCM) provides an agentless remote desktop gateway for instant privileged session management, remote infrastructure access and secure remote database access to RDP, SSH keys, database and Kubernetes endpoints – no VPN required.

For organisations with DevOps pipelines and procedures, Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) aims to eliminate secrets sprawl by removing hard-coded credentials from your source code, config files and CI/CD systems.

Through it’s integration with Keeper Password Manager, KSM provides centralised visibility, oversight and management of a business’s credentials, keys and secrets across the organisational data environment, reducing the risks of secrets misuse or compromise.

Businesses requiring and conducting confidential communication will benefit immediately from KeeperChat. Healthcare professionals, law firms, governments, financial services and banking organisations require strict compliance to confidentiality deal with confidential patient, client and an individual’s personally-identifiable information.
