What is a Health Check?
In IT terms, a health check is typically an assessment of a subset of your environment to determine if it is working as efficiently and effectively as it was originally intended.
To truly perform a health check, you must equally take into consideration the supporting processes and people that manage or run the environment.
Reasons for a Health Check?
There are a number of reasons why a business might engage our services for a health check. These include:
- To investigate performance issues
- As a result of a serious outage or business impacting event
- New manager trying to get an outside appraisal of the environment
- To help build a business case for remediation or replacement

- Collect information about the environment through interviews and/or data collection
- Review the information gathered
- Ask follow up questions based on any findings
- Write the final report
- Present the findings of the report
